Our children grow up surrounded by stories of the world, but how many of those stories remind them of who they truly are? Learning Islamic history helps them see themselves as part of something far greater - an ummah that has shaped the world with its faith, courage and knowledge. When they learn about the prophets, the great Muslim scholars, leaders and civilisations that came before them, they begin to understand that Islam was never confined to a single land or time, but is a living legacy that continues through them today, inshaAllah.

Our Islamic and World History Curriculum takes learners on a remarkable journey through time, from the very beginning of creation to the modern day. Presented in clear chronological order across nine beautifully designed units, children will travel through the stories of the Prophets mentioned in the Qur’an, explore ancient civilisations and witness the rise and fall of great Islamic empires. Along the way, they’ll discover how Islamic history fits within the broader story of world history, connecting events across continents and cultures.

Through this curriculum, learners will explore the lives of the Prophets, the Seerah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the golden eras of Islamic civilisation - from the Rashidun Caliphate to the Umayyads, Abbasids, Al-Andalus, the Seljuks, Salahuddin Ayyubi, the Mongols and the Ottomans. They’ll also gain a global perspective by studying what was happening in the wider world at the same time, from the Tang Dynasty to the Renaissance, and see how faith, innovation and leadership shaped humanity’s story.

Covering around 400 pages, this curriculum is rich with comprehension tasks, mapping activities, timelines, geography links and research-based learning. It is best suited for ages 9–12 and is designed to be completed over one to two years, allowing families or schools to move at their own pace. Open-and-go and Islamically integrated, it provides everything needed for an engaging and meaningful study experience that builds knowledge, curiosity and a love for history, all through the lens of Islam, inshaAllah.
