Our Stage 1 Science curriculum is designed for children aged 5 to 8 in Grades 1 and 2, offering a gentle and engaging introduction to scientific thinking while nurturing appreciation for Allah’s creation. It aligns with the Australian Curriculum, giving parents and educators peace of mind that core learning outcomes are fully covered for this age group. Whether you are meeting regulatory requirements or simply want confidence that nothing is missing, this is a complete curriculum built with educational quality and Islamic values at its core.
There are 7 books, covering a total of 80 lessons with one lesson per week, this is a 2 year program.

Children explore the sky, clouds, rain, wind and the seasons, learning how Allah’s design supports life on Earth through weather and the water cycle.Book 2: Living Things

Children explore how objects move through pushes and pulls, how friction affects movement and how simple machines like levers and pulleys help us work more easily.Together, these books provide a fully aligned and inspiring foundation for early science learning, building curiosity, observation skills and appreciation for the wonders Allah has created.
Please note that this curriculum is separate from our individual unit studies. Our unit studies explore one topic in great depth, while this curriculum guides children through all required topics in a more general, step-by-step way. You can use the unit studies as optional extras to dive deeper into specific themes you meet in the curriculum.
